FleetLine Heavy Duty Shock Absorber
FleetLineTM Shocks – Commercial Truck and Trailer Shocks (85000 series) - Added durability makes the Fleetline™ 85000 series the standard heavy duty product for today’s low friction suspension. Designed as a direct replacement for the original equipment shock, FleetLine shock absorbers by Gabriel® provide a valving rate that compensates for initial truck suspension softening, providing performance that better matches the original ride. Built with original equipment quality components and 10 stage valving to ensure superior performance throughout the life of the shock, it also reduces wear and tear on other costly suspension and vehicle parts. And like all Gabriel shocks and struts, FleetLine shocks feature a super-finished chrome piston rod for superior corrosion resistance and a leak-proof piston seal which extends product life. Unique pressurized piston seal design reduces force-velocity variabilities and self compensates for wear. Cold formed, 360 degree arc-welded eye-ring and mounts and a 1 5/8” bore provide improved durability. A hydraulic rebound stop, where required, prevents shocks from topping out and suspensions from overextending
The Gabriel Suspension Shock Absorber supports firmer damping during heavy cargo transport, while the expanded housing contour promotes cooler internal temperatures when the shock cycles continuously. Fully welded end mounts and steel eye rings give the unit a strong mechanical foundation when rigs encounter shifting load distribution. The chrome-treated rod slows corrosion and preserves a clean sliding surface that helps create a consistent seal interface. This shock absorber also carries performance characteristics tuned for high-hour vehicles that experience long work cycles without extended cooldown intervals. The Gabriel 85045 matches the needs of trucks facing unpredictable surface variations and substantial vertical motion forces.

Gabriel® delivers the performance and reliability that's trusted by truck and trailer O.E. manufacturers. Gabriel's industry history started in 1907 with the invention of the original automotive shock absorber. It was soon followed by the launching of the world's first hydraulic shock absorber, then by the first adjustable shock absorber as well as the first air adjustable shock absorber. Up to this day, Gabriel is still the same pioneering and independent American company that builds the high-performance shocks and struts that are designed to fit over 96% of North American vehicles. Gabriel remains one of the country's most trusted O.E.M. and aftermarket suppliers for light- medium- and heavy-duty trucks and vehicles.
